FOUR OF WANDS – Getting What You Want

Upright and Reversed Keywords

Upright

Successful completion of a project

A harmonious, peaceful cycle

Working out problems

Resolution of arguments

A time to celebrate

Reversed

A waiting period

Delays or misunderstandings

Feeling insecure or uncertain

Core Meaning

This card represents a moment of peace and payoff. After the effort of the earlier Wands, this is the first checkpoint where you’re invited to stop, breathe, and honor the wins.

It’s about joy, family, community, and feeling safe enough to celebrate what you’ve built.

Reversed Meaning

Reversed, the Four of Wands may suggest a delay in gratification or instability in the home/family structure. You may not feel secure in your success — or you're waiting for recognition that hasn’t come.

Sometimes, celebration is postponed — not denied.

Carol’s Reflection

This card shows up when someone has technically succeeded… but isn’t allowing themselves to feel it.

I’ll ask:

“What would it take for you to feel like it’s okay to rest now?”

Client Journal Prompt

What milestone have I reached that I haven’t fully celebrated?
