Season Of the Tarot Card Aces

“Is the Ace of Wands Summer or Spring?”

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Let’s talk about it.

The Seasons of the Aces: Why Nobody Agrees — And Why That’s Okay

Let’s get one thing clear — tarot isn’t a rulebook. It’s a mirror.

And sometimes that mirror reflects different truths depending on who’s holding the cards.

One of the most debated topics in tarot?

Which season belongs to which Ace.

You’d think something as simple as “spring, summer, fall, winter” would be universal.

It’s not.

🌦️ The Seasonal Split

Here’s just a taste of the contradictions:

Ace

Some Say…

Others Say…

Wands

Summer (fire = heat)

Spring (life force)

Cups

Autumn (emotions = reflection)

Summer (growth)

Swords

Spring (clarity = air)

Winter (discernment)

Pentacles

Winter (earth = stillness)

Autumn (harvest)

So who’s right?

Everyone. And no one.

🌱 Why It Matters (and Doesn’t)

As a reader, I’ve come to understand that tarot isn’t about memorizing someone else’s system.

It’s about finding what resonates — and reading with clarity.

Instead of asking:

“What season does this card belong to?”

Try asking:

“What season of life am I in right now?”

That’s where the real magic begins.

🔮 Clarity, Not Consensus

There are dozens of traditions, lineages, and magical systems.

You don’t have to choose a side — just choose what serves your clarity.

If you’ve ever wondered:

“Wait — isn’t this supposed to be the summer card?”

You’re not wrong.

But you might not be entirely right either.

Welcome to the party. You’re doing just fine.

📌

Reader Tip:

If you're learning tarot, don’t stress over seasonal assignments.

You’re allowed to build your own framework — and rewrite it later.
