The Tarot Eights

Four tarot cards: Eight of Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles, each showing a figure or symbols in outdoor scenes.

The Tarot Eights: Karma, Momentum, and Mastery

The Eights mark a shift from waiting to working.

Where the Sevens asked you to reassess, the Eights ask you to recommit or reroute with purpose.

What do I know now that I didn’t know before and what am I going to do about it?

Eight is the number of karma, momentum, and return on effort. It reflects the energy coming back to you — for better or worse — and gives you the chance to move with clarity or stay stuck.

Each suit expresses it differently:

Wands: Acceleration, movement, messages

Cups: Emotional departure, letting go

Swords: Feeling trapped by fear or belief

Pentacles: Mastery through repetition and skill
