Spring Cleaning While Spiritually Decluttering

Spring cleaning season.
Toss the clothes, vacuum the corners, maybe even scrub the grout.
But some of the mess we carry isn’t in the junk drawer.
It’s in the energy.
The past. The choices we made. The parts of ourselves we shoved under the bed and hoped never crawled back out.
You can declutter your whole house and still be haunted by old decisions, old patterns, and old relationships.
Sometimes they even show up in tiny sweaters - licking their paws and judging you silently. Yes - my dog Chloe. seven pounds of chihuahua, inherited from my ex husband .
So how do you really clear the space?
You stop pretending clutter is only physical.
The Insight
Spiritual clutter is sneaky.
It hides in the closet you never open. It lingers in the kitchen where you made bad deals with yourself. It lives in the sentence you keep repeating:
“It’s fine. I’m fine.”
But clearing energy isn’t about waving a stick of sage like a magic wand. Although yes, I do that.
The real shift comes when you admit what you’ve been hoarding.
And you clear with intention, not just incense.
Because you can’t out-sage a self-betrayal.
You can’t bell-ring your way past grief.
But you can clear a space with clarity — and a little help from citrus.
